Recommended for venting applications and sterilization of air and gases. |
- Incorporated PTFE membrane (polytetrafluorethylene) reinforced with a polypropylene mesh in order to allow to work at higher pressures, fixed without adhesives to the polypropylene housing.
- Hydrophobic
- Reusable filter units ( at least 20 autoclaving)
- Light weight (approx. 20 g)
- Tapered hose barbs ensure a simple and secure hold for 6-12 mm inner diameter tubing.
- High flow rate
- Pore size 0.20 µm and 0.45 µm
- Sterilization by autoclaving at 121ºC or at 134ºC (at least 20 times).

APPLICATIONS
- Sterile venting of vessels and fermentation carboys, including culture vessels and CO2.
- Venting of holding tanks for sterile, distilled water and liquid culture media.
- Venting of autoclaves.
- In-line sterilization of and particulate removal from air and gases, such us sterilization of air for small fermenters.
